Brian T. Treacy, Attorney at Law
Brian has been practicing law for over 30 years and has dedicated the past 23 years specifically to Elder
Law and Estate Planning. His law practice is primarily devoted to not only helping families, seniors, and
veterans address financial and estate planning matters but also helps educate them along the way. With
an understanding of both legal and financial issues, Mr. Treacy is uniquely situated to advise his clients
in the development of a truly comprehensive estate and financial plan. Mr. Treacy is a member of the
South Carolina Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Care Attorneys
(NAELA), South Carolina Chapter of NAELA, and member of the Elder Law Sections in both state bar
associations. Mr. Treacy is also an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and
prosecution of claims for Veterans Administration benefits.
Rebekah Freeman, Associate Attorney
Rebekah earned her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law and is a member of the South
Carolina Bar Association. She joined the firm in 2015, and started her legal career at the Elder Law and
Estate Planning Center bringing with her a unique perspective to the firm. Rebekah believes that estate
planning is not just for seniors and retirees, but that anyone 18 years and older who own assets should
consider having an estate plan. She understands the importance of having a professional and efficient
legal team to ensure the client’s needs are met.
Sandy Kraynik, Client & Professional Services Advisor
Sandy brings over 30 years of legal and professional experience as a paralegal and manager for a small
law firm and a Fortune 500 company in the area of corporate law. She earned her B.A. from Hiram
College in Business and Social Services and has held numerous officer positions in national legal
organizations. Sandy provides a wide range of support in the firm as Client Services Advisor. She
ensures that our client’s needs are met and maintained at the highest level. She recognizes the value of
providing excellence in client services.
Kelly Todd, Legal Assistant
Kelly is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds a Masters in Social Work
from the University of South Carolina. Prior to her current role, Ms. Todd worked as a legal assistant at
major law firms in Boston and Washington D.C. in the area of Intellectual Property and most recently as
a paralegal at a small wealth management firm in Hilton Head. Kelly manages the day to day
administrative tasks as well as assisting Brian and Rebekah in the areas of probate and estate planning.
She is an important link in client communication and scheduling and is oftentimes the voice you hear
when calling our firm.
